2. Booking and Reservation Terms

By making a reservation with Swiss Sanctuaries, you agree to the following terms:

• All rates are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include local taxes unless otherwise stated.
• To confirm a reservation, a valid credit card is required, and a deposit may be charged as per the individual property's policy.
• Cancellation policies vary by property and season. Please review the specific cancellation policy provided at the time of booking.
• Check-in and check-out times vary by property. Standard check-in time is from 15:00, and standard check-out time is by 12:00 noon.
• Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
• Special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
• Some properties may require a security deposit at check-in, refundable upon departure subject to a damage inspection.

3. Payment Terms

The following payment terms apply to all bookings:

• Deposit requirements vary by property and season and will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
• Full payment is typically required no later than 30 days prior to arrival for individual bookings.
• For group bookings (5 rooms or more), special payment terms may apply.
• Accepted payment methods include major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank transfers, and in some cases, cryptocurrency.
• Additional charges for services or amenities not included in the room rate will be billed to your account during your stay.
• All prices are subject to change without notice until reservation is confirmed.

4. Cancellation and Modification Policy

Our cancellation and modification policies are as follows:

• Cancellation policies vary by property, room type, and rate plan. Specific details will be provided at the time of booking.
• For most standard reservations, cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival date may result in partial or full forfeiture of the deposit, depending on the property's specific policy.
• No-shows will typically result in a charge equivalent to the full reservation amount.
• Modifications to existing reservations are subject to availability and may result in rate changes.
• During peak seasons and special events, stricter cancellation policies may apply.
• We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

5. Conduct and House Rules

All guests are expected to adhere to the following conduct guidelines:

• Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner respectful of other guests, staff, and property.
• Excessive noise, especially during evening hours, is prohibited.
• Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of our properties. Designated smoking areas may be available.
• Pets are permitted only at select properties and must be declared at the time of booking. Additional fees and restrictions may apply.
• Any damage to property caused by guests will be charged to the guest's account.
• Swiss Sanctuaries reserves the right to ask guests to leave without refund in cases of severe misconduct or violation of property rules.

6. Liability and Insurance

Regarding liability and insurance:

• Swiss Sanctuaries is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of guest belongings during their stay.
• Guests are advised to use in-room safes or hotel safety deposit boxes for valuables.
• Swiss Sanctuaries is not liable for any injury, illness, or death of guests unless directly attributable to negligence by the company.
• Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, personal accidents, and trip cancellation.
• Swiss Sanctuaries accepts no liability for service interruptions such as water, electricity, or for disturbances beyond our control.

7. Children and Extra Beds

Our policies regarding children and extra beds:

• Children of all ages are welcome at most of our properties, though some may be adults-only. Please check individual property details.
• Children under a certain age may stay free when using existing bedding. Age limits vary by property.
• Extra beds and cribs are available on request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
• Maximum room occupancy must be adhered to for safety reasons and may not be exceeded under any circumstances.
